There is a camping ground on the east shore that was once used as a military barrack. Remains of the same can still be found in the area, and are under the administration of the Norwegian military. Towards the south shore of this lake, there a golf course called Oslo Golfklubb, the first 18-hole golf course in Norway. Bogstad Manor is another attraction near the lake, where you will find farm animals, a historic park, a café and lots of playing areas of children.
